Being an at-home-dad, exploring new things and discovering new attractions with my children is one of the many joys of parenthood.   New England offers a lot to explore, so much that it can be overwhelming and a bit difficult to find useful information about what to do with your kids. The blog, OneMomsReview.net is a terrific collection of up to date, user submitted info about activities and attractions for kids and parents around New England.

OneMomsReview.net offers “parent friendly” reviews and information for attractions and activities, such as parking, admission, birthday parties, bathrooms, reviews and ranks the experience on a scale of 1-5 smiles.   Information is available for Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont and includes attractions and a frequently updated Calendar of Events of New England kid friendly activities.

Mandy Grenier started the blog to share her experiences, after unsuccessfully searching for a website which provided useful and up to date info for parents about New England attractions and activities for kids.  The website has become a go to resource for parents in the region, with some commenting “This is a great thoughtful and well-organized blog”, “Wow Mandy! This is invaluable!”, “Thank you so much for putting all this information together! What a great resource.”, and “What a Great blog!”.

Mandy encourages readers to post their comments, noting that the more information shared, the better readers can prepare for their adventures with their children.   Please visit OneMomsReview.net for more information, or email Mandy Grenier with your suggestion, comment or question.

Welcome

The New England Birdhouse Blog features original articles, videos and how-to guides about backyard birding, bird watching, building bird feeders and bird houses, gardening, and New England living.

I frequently post about a variety of topics including creating wildlife-attracting backyards, planning a New England leaf peeping bird watching trip, identifying common backyard birds, and plans and instructions for building simple and effective bird feeders and bird houses.

Also, please consider visiting our store for fine architectural bird houses and bird feeders, great backyard birding items, and custom handcrafted artisan wares.

I hope you find our articles helpful and useful. Please share your thoughts and experiences by posting your comments (located at the end of each article). If you have any questions or comments, please email me. Thank you for visiting and I hope you come back often.
